don't know about R5 yet, but R7 is a mediocre base for a gaymen build.

However, it's a great build for having a sandboxed Win 10 gaming VM running at decent levels while also keeping everything else going in the background on your primary OS install.

R7 is not primarily a gaming chip. Wait for R5.

I think the R5 would team up nicely with a RX480/RX470 and be with in a good budget.
