ungoogled-chromium's patches weren't made by a single developer. Inox patches were made by gcarq, Iridium patches were made by the Iridium team.

Chromium is one of the most secure software ever made - the "audits" to be made here are to disable google connections because they don't respect the users.

ungoogled-chromium runs domain substitution on the whole source code before compiling. Then, in case the browser attempts to connect to a google domain, it blocks the connection and alerts the user.

You don't get more anti-google than that.

>>59467726
By compiling from the source. You don't have to read Chromium's source - check the patches and the Python scripts used to build it.

Try building with the PKGBUILD instead. Also build.py is meant for python3, but the internal building of chromium itself uses python2.
It should be seeing python2 in >>59469030
but it might not be looking at your PATH, or /usr/local/bin might not be in your PATH. You can try linking /bin/python2.7 to /bin/python2 even though its considered very bad practice to do so, and see if it works then.
>>

>I have no fucking idea what I'm talking about: the post
None of those are connections to google.

One of them doesn't even have any urls in it.
One is checking that a url parsing method properly extracts sections of the url string using a google domain string as an example.
One is checking that a url formatter properly lowercases input.
One is only ever built at all when the compilation target is chrome, not chromium.
One is setting default domain access permissions for extensions.
Two of them are tests that aren't part of the browser at all and only run if you specifically build and run the test suite separately.

Learn what you're talking about before you go running your retarded mouth you tinfoiler.

You're using the static builder. It is meant to get a statically linked build that will run on every linux distro (like Google does with Chrome).

Check how to use the Arch builder instead. Though, I'm not sure if the code to build it on arch works 100% yet.

If you want an easier way, turn on a Ubuntu 14.04 VM and make a static build there, then transfer it to your host HDD.
>>
>>59469670
I built it on Arch with no problems using AUR
>>
>>59469609
>All of these connect to and use google services
No, they don't all do that. Many of them do not, and the ones that do are features that can be enabled or disabled by the user at any time.

For example, ShouldShowPromoAtStartup is a flag that determines whether the browser should display an internal page welcoming the user to the browser upon first launch. Firefox has the exact same thing.
GoogleURLTracker is used for instant results in the Omnibox, which is an optional feature that the user may turn off.
Gaia is a fucking authentication service.

Again, take your conspiracy bullshit somewhere else. You don't have any idea what you're talking about, and you're just coming up with bullshit and hoping that nobody knows enough about the browser to actually refute you.

If you can point out in the Chromium source code something that actually makes it into a Chromium target (and not just a Chrome target) that tracks the user without any option available to disable it, then post that. Until then, fuck off.
