I think AMD is doing good by pushing their dual everything architecture. They have good support for multi card systems by way of DX12 and Vulkan. They are pushing Multi cpu on one chip with Ryzen. This verses the traditional architecture. You have to give them credit for trying to advance when innovation has been stagnant.
