The color of the circuit board is arbitrary. There are many that have different colors. Look up arduino boards, they're all blue.

what youre talking about is the fiberglass substrate that holds the traces the processor uses to connect to other chips and smd components. This fiberglass is mostly green, but it can bed black(macs), white, blue(arduino), pink(jtagulator), purple, red (ti boards), and many other colors.
