I had my mobo blow 6 months ago after having the same OC for the past 3 years.

Nothing was affected just replaced the mobo.

Why do exploding power supplys emit blue smoke

2 years ago, when I upgraded my desktop. Mobo had a floppy connector so I installed a floppy drive for the keks and used a cheap chinese molex->floppy power converter which was defective. Thank dog nothing was damaged except that cable.
