I want to hang a tv screen in my house that acts like a painting but switches images every once in a while.

I want it to plug and play. I dont want to hook up a GUI and browse to a folder and run a slide show. Pure plug and play. How do I achieve this?

grab a raspberry pi, find a slideshow script that runs on boot. sync with a network drive or use a USB. get a decent frame for the TV and use an led or amoled display.
