Is really high turnover for a tech company normal?
I started my current job a month ago and I'm already the most senior dev because everyone else jumped ship. This is my first job out of university.
How is the outlook of your company?

Yes

this op, I'm interested..
seems like some of these smaller companies have little to no job security

How the fuck does anyone know the software? wtf

It is a smaller company. The company was created in September 2016

Seems to be going well. I know we have contracts, and my last payday cleared, so I'm don't really know why everyone is leaving.
A lot of people quit without notice too. They fail to show up one day and our HR department (which is one person) gets an emial saying they quit.

The company probably puts out life insurance on the developers and kills them

Start looking for another job.

No.

Company is about to go belly up. People don't wanna have a disaster in their resumes so they got new jobs while they're still employed.
If you're looking for a job, the worst possible scenario is to be unemployed. HR departments don't like it, recruiters don't like it.
get a new job while you still have one. if you get fired or company goes bankrupt, you're fucked.

There can be many factors at play. OP needs to speculate more.

Lucky you. That will look good on your cv no matter what happens down the line

If the company is small, you should be able to tell what's going on, especially since you're now the senior developer.
>>59441353
>senior developer
>not knowing what's going on in the company
Shieeet, that's why we can't have nice things.
>>59439888
OP this is pretty normal especially for smaller companies. Chances are the other devs knew that your company is going to go under. They prob haven't fired you because you are making below competitive average.
Just stay there until it does go under, when you go look for other jobs say that they went under and you stayed around until the end.
Always remember to practice and hone your skills.
