I don't hate technology

I just realised that it will inevitably change life and it's my opinion that the change is bad.

Changes like:
Mass surveillance and no privacy or freedom; cramped, soulless, corporate slave populations; everyone reliant on drugs to live or stop from killing themselves; the possibility of world destruction increasing every year; mass murder/suicides becoming commonplace; constant advertising and stimulation; and deluded populace that lives to consume some kind of electronic media

i don't even have any current gen anything because the weakest entries to all my favorite franchises have been released within the last 6 years.

I thought I was outgrowing video games, but it's the industry that changed.
I'm having tons of fun playing my PS2 backlog, even new games I never played before, so it's not "nostalgia" i'm feeling.

I notice most of what I enjoy are previously "obscure" mid budget PS2 gems. There's no mid-budget games anymore. You don't see "obscure" gems anymore because everything has to be AAA now.
Your only alternative are hit or miss PC indie games.
