Can you recommend some good books which help me refresh my c++ and at the same time cover all new features?
tour of C++

this one?

what are you going to do with C++ OP?

1) I'm in a nodejs project, where all the code written needs to be deployed on a client's server. To "prevent" code stealing or at least say, make it harder to reverse engineer, I'm rewriting some critical function as c++ modules.
2) I need some low level hardware access to connected cameras
3) I want to have a look into the UE4 Engine in my sparetime

Well then you probably want to stick with MSVC/Visual Studio and C++1x.
As for books find a copy of effective modern c++
dont forget to strip your binaries

not the same guy, but I think it is indeed this one, I personally really like this book, though it is not really made to _learn_ C++11, but more like what to use from C++11/14 rather than previous functions (such as shared pointers and unique pointers instead of raw pointers if you focus on the safety of your code)

Sounds like a good way, to refresh my c++ and combine it with some of the new stuff :)
Thanks! I've ordered it.
