HTC has long been one of the better manufacturers in terms of audio quality. Should be more than decent.

Just flash something better than the stock ROM and you should be good. Don't expect any timely updates from pajeets coders though. External audio is dreamy but that's just a meme at this point. Compared to the OnePlus 3 in my shitposting hand right now, it's more prone to screen cracks so do exercise some caution.
