Can any linuxfag give me some light? I'm trying to install Ubuntu (using a USB stick) but every goddam time I hit "live" or "install" the fucking screen freezes and the next shit I know is this fucking error on my screen pls help

Idk about ubuntu, haven't used it since 12.10, Solus just werks for me now that I've switched to it. Linux mint was a mistake.
