Is there any reason to still be using FreeBSD now that Btrfs has surpassed ZFS?
Btrfs has done what now?
Can I get a rundown on Btrfs? How has it surpassed ZFS?

bsd general?
is netbsd significantly lighter/faster than openbsd and freebsd?

>more features
>can add disks to a raid live
>can change raid level on the fly
>blows out ZFS in performance tests, not a massive memory whore
>stable enough to be used by facebook in prod

from my experience yes, NetBSD has a better default filesystem and feels snappier, too bad you have to compile chromium, if you're ok with firefox it's nice tho

Children are so fucking annoying.
ZFS is still the only production grade fs that's safe to use.

LEL

Last I checked, raid 5/6 were still experimental. Has this changed?
>>59383943
No, it's still experimental and btrfs still suffers from heavy fragmentation. Only a retard would use it when ZFS has just as good performance.
BSDBTFOit's over.

There are still problems with raid 3 type schemes. The only truly working schemes are raid 0,1,01,and 10.
Stability is my concern.
BTR has too large an error track record

If you're going to bait, try something that's controversial at least
