The autists at Reddit got a petition for AMD to release the source-code for their PSP.

Releasing the source is a good start.
However, we also need a way to change the contents of the code that the PSP runs if we want to be able to address exploits.
I wish they'd just give us a way to turn off PSP / IME.

The TrustZone unit is a more robust trusted execution bit. Its a good thing. Freetards only complain about it because of what it could possibly represent, not because they have any specific problem with its features.
The open source community is full of communist faggots anyway. They have no idea what the implications of this are. Much of the unit's functions are microcode specific to the ARM core which aren't available to the public anyway, so the source code for the intermediary driver layer that communicates with the hardware wouldn't reveal anything.

Agreed. The main thing they should do is either

This started on reddit asking to open source the PSP, and libreboot had other requests including releasing signing keys and hardware schematics, but one of those two things is really all we need to be able to run a fully free software system.
