Uhhh, no, it's not for that. Porteus is for embedded hardware like info terminals. BTW, if I'm not mistaken, it's Slackware-based. And Slackware isn't "Debian alternative", it's older and, if anything, it's the other way around: Debian is an alternative to a Slackware
