My phone sometimes overheats when I have my phone on my car windshield mount.
Would my phone not overheat as much if I put it on an air vent mount.
I live in southern california so it can get to over 37 degrees regularly in the summer

I almost always have Pocketcasts or Spotify open alongside google maps as well as tons of other programs.
Should I kill all my other programs before I go into GPS mode when it is hot ass balls

its an S4 with a black otterbox case. I thought the hot ass glass conducting heat through the mount was a bigger problem like >>59373660 said
Get it out of the sun, use a magnetic mount on the front of your dash.
