I miss my rMBP. I don't even care that they're all USB C now, all my devices are USB C at this point. The screen was a nice middle ground between 1080p (lower resolution, longer battery life) and 4k (higher resolution, shorter battery life). The track pad was the best. Mac OS actually works well on higher DPI screens. I just don't know if I could get used to the butterfly switches on the keyboard, I tried it at Best buy for 30 seconds and it wasn't as bad as I expected, but idk if I'd be willing to cope with it on a $1,300+ laptop.

I just picked one of these up with the 6700m and a 1060(m). Reasonably sized, not extensively ricey while maintaining a relatively quiet full-load profile. Display isn't top10 by any means, but for $1600 it's a fucking steal in comparison to a lot of other models available with discrete graphics.
