I switched to Chrome because Firefox kept crashing on me. It was either 2008 or 2009, either way i loved the customization of Firefox but it ran like shit and I was forced to change.

I use firefox, tried chrome last week and I went back to ff after 3 minutes.
Yes, it feels faster at first but just half a second faster on loading pages, then on standard things like Facebook it lags a lot during scrolling. And everything goes to shit with 3/4 heavy pages open. Firefox just werks and it always feels stable, like they have their shit figured out.
Oh, x230, i5, 8gb ram, SSD so it is not my system's problem

Everything works, EVERYTHING, fine
And I have around 80GB of media production software, from illustrator to unreal engine so I'd assume the PC is fine.
Also, I've found the exact same problem on other and older systems. The only computers i see running chrome perfectly fine are macs.
Maybe I just have a different perception of "lag" but half a second stutters while scrolling a page seems like it.
