Guys, I think I managed to hack the Switch properly this time.

So tell me more then, what did you do?
>>59356202
Shit. Do you have a patreon??
The only thing it proves is that someone stupid enough to buy an apple facebook machine was also stupid enough to buy the gameboy switch.
This should surprise nobody.

Webkit exploit, fake DNS server hack.
It uses iOS webkit exploits.

How much longer till we can get a tcsh/bash shell giving us complete access to the system and it's BSD goodness?

2 weeks max
>>59356202
Fuck that's some skill right there
>web browsers on a game console
So, I'm not as smart as everyone on /g/.
I'm curious,
What did you do? How did this work? What is the point, and where do you want to go with this hack? How did you learn this and what was your approach for this specific hack?
These are serious questions. As I don't have any real programming experience or expertise in computers, I think what you did is fairly neat.

Webkit exploits are just the first step
Doesn't mean much until you get a homebrew setup working

But how are you supposed to spy on a device's user if it isn't connected to the internet?

It's a major step

Its basically a bone stock Android tablet, except its running some hacked together OS built on top of BSD. Point is though that nothing in the hardware is specialized. No real hardware security like a TrustZone hyper visor. The games themselves will be encrypted, and that will be the only hurdle to getting an emulator of the system going. Dumping and loading roms on the system is probably half a year out.
If the core kernel is heavily based around the 3DS's then we already have a foot in the door. Top to bottom this really seems like a joke. The system is poorly thought out, poorly executed, no polish.
