Privacy and anonymity are two different things. I'm not aiming for anonymity, where there are no traces of me at all, but I want privacy, where I can have my face, name and other job related info online but not my browsing history or IRC history.

Well I have the same name as my father so all of his stuff comes up instead followed by some train enthusiast. My old eve online username brings up a forum I'm still actively shitposting on and that's definitely got some personally identifiable details on it
