Speccy thread
GTX 1080 arriving in the mail Friday.
posting?
Not sure what the purpose of these threads is though, lol. Speccy isn't even a good prog.
Waiting on my 1060 to turn up.
Downgraded recently. Feels good

Waiting for asus to release the PG27UQ.
This speccy is actually old now as the cpu temps now lower as I put in the kraken x42.
Please no bully desu
>>59316291
it actually has 4GB of RAM (´°ω°`)
>>59314911
Been getting the urge to upgrade for a while, next build will be Ryzen when the motherboards have had a chance to mature a bit
>>59314911
How long until my cpu becomes a bottleneck? GTX 1080ti looking damn fine right now
>>59319619
It'll probably still be a year or two before it becomes a real bottleneck, depends what games you play though. Most games can only handle up to 4 cores anyway.

>1080Ti
>For 1080p
>When you can finally post in a speccy thread with a decent PC
>>59325007

>>59326998
That sucks i almost got one but with the gtx 1080ti coming out i was thinking about getting a used gtx 1080 for pretty cheap.
>>59327023
not cheap enough. new fury for $250. more than enough for 1080 gaming.
1060 is OC'd to 2060Mhz
>>59329022
>1060 is OC'd to 2060Mhz
Nice, what brand?
>>59329173
MSI 6gb OC
>>59329022
Where do I get the left side column?
>>59329218
You'll need PerformanceMark for that
>>59329218
It's passmark. If you look at the first measure it says it. Heads up, I'm loseing score on the disk mark. Was pic related. The 1060 is really crippled in the 2d mark compared to a GTS 450.
>>59329218

>>59329689
Ah, ok.
>>59329675
Yes.... I think you pretty much have to it was running at fucking 90c before now it doesn't break 75 at 1.4 volts.
>>59329801
Man I wish I knew how to. At the moment I have HT and xmp profiles off to keep temps down.
>>59329858
Does your library have a 3d printer? you can print a tool that makes it pretty safe granted you still need the liquid metal TIM but with a few youtube videos and this anyone can handle it.

>>59329858
If you're patient and willing to spend some money, you can send your chip to silicon lottery and they'll delid it for $50 USD.
>>59330029
Can vouch for this.
They did a great job, pic related.
