Why is Firefox bloated as fuck?
>>59314854
You are a deluded retard, go ahead and use wireshark or other packer sniffer on a running chrome instance, it even sends unknown encrypted data to google when you're in incognito mode.
>>59315628
chromium is the same botnet as chrome
being open source doesn't mean that it doesn't spy on you
just use pale moon faggots

I experienced massive lags while opening three video tabs at once so I switched to Edge and no problem occured.
I liked you firefox

Iridium was a different botnet, from what I remember. Came with its own shit set as the defaults instead of google's. Shady as fuck.

At some point they had a fallback ping to one of their servers in case of leftover botnet stuff. It was to let them know that there's home calling code left. Normally it didn't contact any servers. I don't know if they've removed it. As for the defaults, it's just a different search engine AFAIK
>>59315821
oh no
>>59315841
I know the uhhh precurser was called IRON or something? They had a newpage full of ads. It was a completely retarded fork that did not deserve shit. Problem is I'm not sure which of the things I hate because of Iron or Iridium now.
Ungoogled-chromium looks promising, but it's not a widely distributable source yet from what I can tell.
>>59314816
it just werks
Just use netcat to get the page you need and parse the HTML with a custom perl script
>>59314816
Oh what is it now?
>>59314948
this. firefox is just fine for everyday browsing, no need to opt-in the google botnet more than you probably already have.

yeah, iron was the one with the alt-botnet. iridium didnt, although they initially replaced a few domain with their own leading nowhere.
