Most people would say something in the arts, but it won't be long before robots are able to find patterns in art and figure out how to create original works that evict emotional responses even better than human art

The real answer is drug dealer. I doubt anytime soon you'll see a goddamn rumba rolling around dealing coke

Over what period of time? Our lifetime assuming no major extensions to life expectancy... likely almost everything.
If you think that's a bit far, think about how long that will be and what the tech was like that long ago in the past.

Fun fact, at the extreme ends of the demographic pool, men (teens) that fought in the 2nd US civil war were alive when nuclear weapons first were used.

If your job involves making something, or fixing something, you're probably safe. The people who are making the robots, and the people involved with repair are the safest.

Parameters for problems will probably be set by programmers, but with deep learning AI can only learn based off of human work. If you tell it to code a circle, it will probably just plagiarize what human did instead of do its own code.

Mainly only applies to small towns
In smaller towns getting drugs is more of a matter of who you know and having connections to know where to go to get it. You can't have that kind of human networking with a robot unless we're talking robots with exact human personalities which is a whole other topic

Code monkeys don't understand that no deep learning algorithm can truly replace art, be it musical or visual. Only a human can cater to and understand the subtle artistic needs of another human, be it some generic anime series, a detailed portrait or a grand symphony.
>>
>>59313395
Everything can be replaced by it. The far future of humanity is a utopian society where nobody works and robots take care of us. Currency will be abandoned because it would make no sense.

In our lifetime, programmers will definitely not be replaced. Someone has to maintain the AI. Obviously, researchers and scientists are still useful since there's so much we need to do so those positions are safe too. Any type of administration job will still not be automated since I doubt a simple AI we'd make would be reliable until a far future. Psychologists, politicians, babysitters, and some other jobs are also safe.

>>59314990
An AI could easily extrapolate patterns from known good music/paintings and observe human interest and log emotions in order to improve it's efficiency in making art. It's actually one of the most trivial things to automatize.
>>
>>59315128
I feel the bulk of programmers will quickly be replaced (save for a very select few who will maintain the programmer-bots).
Lots of artificially created concept art for advertising and media will be created and put a lot of people out of work, but large amounts of lowly artists will be sought after to retouch it and and make it seem less artificial. And big firms will still hire select top artists to oversee and direct everything. Maybe the Pajeet of the future will turn to art instead of programming.

If you're in tech, you just have to adapt. This isn't nothing new at all. I'm 36 and I've reinvented myself in the IT world several times now. It's been more career progression related, but at the same time I've advanced my career by followInf trends and focusing on tech that would lead me to the best jobs at the best companies.

So what do I do right now? I'm a systems engineer that automates all the things, Devops or whatever you want to call it. In my org we've stopped hiring sysadmin types and only hire developers with a sysadmin background. You don't even get an interview if you can't pass the same programming test we give to developers elsewhere in the company.

Quite to the contrary.

In fact feminists have already started opposing progress in making sex bots. They think it is """slavery""".

Others think it will mean the end of the drama queens.
>>
>>59319213
So being a sex bot equals being a slave, but being a prostitute means you're a strong independent woman?

None of them.

Even if a machine cannot do your job a person with a machine will end up doing the work of ten men. Literally nothing is safe microsoft has a network that paints new Rembrandt new paintings with new subjects in his style.

Soon little brainstorming machines will sprint out writing and writer will just edit them to fix them up. He will do the work of ten writers without the machine.

Nothing is safe.

Microsoft has an ai that makes rembrandts

you dumb art fags do not understand. The person paints and the ai tweaks the style to match Rembrandt. The ai's will not always replace people they will sometimes still need people to operate but that person will be the work of ten people with the machine. So 9 people still get fired.

Pic related was made by their ai and a person.

You need to give up on the idea of the ai making something. The ai is just an advanced tool. Think of it as the most useful paintbrush ever.
>>
>>59319340
Machines will learn to make art in a style that's been outdated for 400 years? Oh no!

Get back to me when they have a program that makes postmodern art.
>>
NONE OF THEM
>>
would some job in the field of robotics be a good to get into?
>>
>>59319422

There is a guy who made a machine that displayed something and constantly tweaked it. The tweaks depended on the eye movements of the people in the room which it constantly monitored.

He also made a killing by making crap paintings and then tracking them to see how they were flipped again and again then used that info to flip his own shit once he had an ai that found the patterns in the flips.

Post modern art is garbage and will be replaced faster then the old good stuff.
>>
>>59319451
No
>>
>>59319451

As a repair man maybe but only big machines will need repairs most shit will just have boards swapped out.

In fact everything will just be swapable parts with just the cheapest labor doing the switching.

You are probably fucked in robotic also.
>>
The idea that artists can be replaced by machines is fucking retarded. People don't just like art for the surface level aesthetic value, it's about the emotion that goes into it, the artist's message and human expression. Yes, there's algorithmic art and music, but that's interesting to a mostly completely different audience in a completely different way.
>>
>>59313395
OP sucking dick.
>>
>>59319507

The idea that the artists intent comes through is bullshit its a crap shoot if people can understand it and even then everything has patterns. And even if you absolutely need a person well the ai will allow any asshole to do the job without any skill.

Look at the people already in the field now. Microsoft is duplicating skill that takes decades to build with an ai. There was the guy making post modern art from an algorithm that tweaked itself depending on how much it was interesting people at any time.

And there is that one guy who does the painting automation thing where he hires people for cheap to make paintings and then put his name on the best of the lot to push.

And all of that is in an art world that is at least half bullshit. Half the people buying dont see any value in the work and just get it because they believe they can flip it.

Feminists. It's all about women doing whatever they want even if it's prostitution. But when a bot wants to suck some cock, suddenly it's slavery.
>>
>>59319682

>>

You realize that wont happen until we get human-level intelligence robots right?

And at that point, it doesnt matter and the richfags will make their own country.
>>
Shill
>>
Psychotherapy. Until convincing human robots are made, at least.
>>
>>59320012
I do, but that's not what the question is. The question is what jobs are likely not to be replaced by automation and the answer is that all of them are likely to be replaced by automation eventually. Whether it will matter at that point or not is not important.

>the richfags will make their own country.
And what happens then in your scenario? No big companies in the remaining countries, everyone who mass produces is surely fairly rich so they fuck off to rich country. So this one country is self sustaining and can easily produce enough to feed the world, but they choose instead to masturbate each others cocks

I'm having trouble imagining your post apocalyptic hell scenario, it's probably more likely we'll see the rise of socialism/communism if all jobs get automated, but do share more of your story. What's the logic behind it? Why are these rich people so mean? What do they do for fun in their rich country? Does anyone ever get bored and think "boy, we could fix all the world problems, we've got naught better to do anyway and my hand is stiff from jacking off Bill's cock"
>>
>>59319407
Anyone can be trained to make Rembrandt's or Picasso's or whatever else you want.

The point is it takes that original Rembrant and that original Picasso to come up with the style in the first place.

That's what AIs can never do.
