Basically anything done in VS can compile for either, in a lot of cases you can just compile for "Everything" and get an old OSX style universal binary.

This is completely unannounced and highly unlikely.
Each 4-die MCM has 128 PCIe lanes, 64 of which are repurposed as Infinity Fabric interconnect lanes in a 2S system.

Fully connected 4S systems need 3 interconnects per socket, but there's only one Zeppelin die, so even that config of Naples would have gimped IO. Fully connected 8S systems are even rarer in the wild, and systems like Xeon EX have to get by with goofy topologies with their 3 full QPI links.
