Red pill me on the technology 4chan uses to have an imageboard.

There's a computer with 4chan installed... We all connect to it... So basically we're all part of a botnet...

It's twenty year old php spaghetti with new features occasionally glued on, and the entire thing sometimes crashes.

There was an interesting /x/ theory that 4chan was made up of different levels.

Essentially, as you got more and more redpilled, you were sent to a different version of 4chan which looked the same but slowly replaced other posters with bots designed to bait you into committing a crime. The ratio of regular posters to bots got higher the deeper down the rabbit hole you went. At the bottom level, it would be essentially just you and bots.
