VLC just werks. Only gui needed some tweaking.

I use MPC-HC but I rename all my screenshots with "vlcsnap-" when uploading to /a/ in order to stir up shit.

I'm sure that 130 IQ is being put to good use doing things like pretending to not be begging for help on the internet so I'll spoon feed a little more and recommend trying every video mode through a command prompt from the top down and making a mental note of CPU utilization during playback. If you can't accomplish that I recommend taking that high IQ back to the Apple store and pretend to not beg them for something that just werks.
