Hi and welcome to /trans/ where we discuss the various technologies that help us overcome our weak human bodies.
As this is the first edition of the thread, we'll start light:
What augs do you have and would you recommend them to the average person?
Personally I only have corrective eyewear. Prescription: -7.0. I have both eyeglasses and contact lenses that I apply directly to my eyes.
Recommend? Yes, and I really hope they can increase benefits in the coming years. Think Google Glass but on your contact lenses, etc.
So, /g/? Which augs do you have? Replacement body parts? Hearing aids? What you got?

Pretty sure God guides humanity in some way to help cure disease and sickness. I don't see how Transhumanism is much different. Humans and everything else we've ever been involved with keep advancing and getting better. Society can still have biblical morals and direction with Transhumanism. The real satanic ideology is stuff like feminism where its goal is to actually degenerate society and break up tradition.
This is maybe the tamest possible beginning for this general. I'll be lurking to see if it takes off.
If we're considering contact lenses to be augmentations:
I wear clothes daily to protect my body from various things.
I carry a phone with me so that I can communicate with anyone on the planet or find any information in seconds.
Neural interface so I could shitpost with my mind
Which form of transhumanism is better, technological augmentation or genetic engineering?
