I have a hospital bookbag that is always packed and ready since my dad has alot of medical issues. I keep an extra of everything in there in case I need to grab it and run out the door, which has happened a few times. I don't think it's completely healthy, no, I've got no doubt that an electronic cigarette user's lungs aren't as properly functioning as somebody who has never touched either a cigarette or a an electronic cigarette, but I'd wager it's well above 50% better functioning than a smoker.

The biggest thing is just combustion. Smoke creates suit, vaporization using the two primary chemicals found in the nicotine juice is a humectant, meaning rather than building up inside the lungs it instead draws moisture and lets you exhale it.

I just know that I've read extensively on every major "health risk" to come out of the media and it's actual studies and found it to be laughable. Formaldehyde in the vapor, yes, but more in a cigarette and their testing method was dry hitting a coil. Popcorn lung due to Diacetyl, MUCH more Diacetyl in traditional cigarettes (pic related). Exploding batteries, stupid people keeping batteries in the same pocket with their keys or using a mod with no venting and building too low resistance for the amp limit of the batteries.

They keep coming up with it and it keeps getting debunked. I have no doubt that it isn't *good* for me, but I don't think it comes even close to "almost as deadly as cigarettes".

I'm pretty inactive with my photography nowadays so a camera is hardly EDC, more like WDC, but back when I did it all the time
1. I wanted to photograph my city and the people in it
2. I moved around my city every day - I work and study in the center of the city, I live further away in a cheap house.
Thus, it made (and still would make) perfect sense to always have my Canon FT film SLR in my bag.
I want to dedicate an hour or two of the day for photography after work? No reason to waste time traveling home first, I can just take the SLR out of my bag and go search for things to shoot.
