Hey /g/. Give me a reason why i should spend an extra $700, which could be spent on investing in getting another gpu, or anything else for that matter, for a 6950X, with only a 2 core increase, over a 5960X.

If you're asking the question you obviously do not deserve neither the 6950x nor the 5960x. Go for the 7700k if it's only for gayms and pretending you're using your computer as a wokstation
