Ubuntu was good back in the day that they gave free Ubuntu disks to everyone. Nowadays they are just thirsty for money.

A few genius level professors in my University use Ubuntu because it just works.

I think a lot of people on /g/ confuse their ability to use Arch with actual intelligence.

I'm using it right now on my Thinkpad T430. You get a pretty crazy performance boost going from Windows 10 to Ubuntu.
