AIMP
Winamp 2.95 with flac plugin.

This is what I have been using up to now. The youtube plugin seems to break on nearly every link I try now though. Even my old playlists won't work.
Hence why I'm looking for something new.
nncmpp + mpd

It's perfectly fine if you have normalfag taste in music. Practically 99% of everything recently released for North American markets is streamable through spotify since it's become one of the largest revenue sources for the music industry. $10/month (or even less if you're a student in the US) is pretty fair for the size of their catalogue and ability to download for mobile devices.
mpd + ncmpcpp

Foobar has youtube plug-in, but it's kinda shitty. Just using your browser is better.

Why should anyone use that over ncmpcpp?
>Note that since I only use the filesystem browsing mode, that’s also the only thing I care to implement for the time being.
>youtube plugin
but... why?
Is it that hard to just use your browser?

Playing youtube in a sound player is a fucking waste of resources.
Just download the content, demux it if you only need audio, and play it locally.
