Sure love this computer.

Sorry for the shitty pic. I have to drain / tear down tonight anyway, replacing all the tubing and adding a flow meter to the loop.
>>
>>59274253

Do you like that open case? I almost went that way when I started my build but I was concerned about noise and dust buildup.
>>
>>59274361

I do plan too, when i get my 1600X, i plan on upgrading my GPU, I cant find a water block for my current GPU.

>>59275205

I have no issues with dust, I was scared of that too, but I heard that actually since its open, dust build up is not an issue, since the fans and natural air will just keep it moving instead of getting stuck or settling like it would in a closed case.

No issue with noise at all, i guess when i do high end gaming, the fans kick in a bit, but not anything crazy.
>>
>>59275167
Nice loop, what tubing are you going for?
>>
>>59275277

Huh, interesting. I was worried it would just settle op top of all the exposed components when the computer was off. It doesn't help that my room mate has a cat and it's a furry little piece of shit.

So I set up a "sealed" case with positive pressure. Works pretty well, the only place any dust accumulates is the intake filters.
>>
>>59275419

Thanks, this is actually my first PC build,

Whatever ModMyMods in-house clear 3/8"-5/8" tubing is. I ordered 10 feet of Mayhems Ultra Clear, but apparently they didn't have enough so I authorized them to substitute their in-house stuff just to get the shipment out. My experience with them has been questionable.

The braided hose is really stiff (I boiled / used a hair dryer to heat sections of it for installation), but works great besides that. I can route things a little more cleanly with more flexible tubing though.

Those small AiOs only make sense in itx builds with very limited airflow. In mATX or ATX build it's going to be on par with something like 212 evo which is significantly cheaper. If you have the money and space get at least 240 rad.

Seriously. Why the fuck do you have to interject every time someone say's they've got AMD anything. Are you a Jew? Is that why you must spout the safe fucking bullshit everyday, to protect the income of your people, the stealing from the goym?
People will buy AMD for their use-case. Not everyone needs to buy Intel. And certainly few people want to buy Intel, when properly informed.

I ordered the b350 thomahawk from newegg, but it won't arrive until this wednesday...

So rather than wait I went ahead and bought an asus x370-pro from microcenter yesterday. I figure I'll either return the other board or sell it so someone at a small discount who wants one but can't buy due to stocking.

Thanks for beta testing the platform. I'll wait 'till July before jumping on the wagon. Hopefully by then mobo manufacturers will have sorted out the big bugs. And maybe local retailers will stop price gouging, currently its 682€ for an 1800X.

Why are AMD PCBs the biggest mess of components ever?
I mean comparing them to an Nvidia board they are incredibly disorganized and really crammed
>>
>>59279811
Nah, RX480. I just like to play around with it and it scales very well with temperature. It was fun making those VRM and VRAM heatsinks. Highest I had it was 1570MHz for Firestrike stable. Daily is [email protected]. Along with vram timing tweaks and overclock it's 20-25% perf increase from stock.
Runs pretty cool and quiet with that amount of metal too.

So far yes - maybe slightly worse/on par with a 212 evo. I have my chip running at 3.7ghz/1.275v at ~66c during p95. I have not extensively tweaked this OC nor have I attempted to reach a higher freq, have not had the time unfortunately.
