Why doesn't Linux offer me anything that can bring me to the level of security provided by Windows tools like EMET and Sandboxie?

For kernel security, use grsecurity, apparmor, selinux
For increased granularity in file permissions, use an ACL
For X11 exploits, use wayland or firejail

That includes anything from Microsoft, that's like saying because there's a random UAF in office that windows is insecure. The majority of those are from edge or i.e. whereas Linux is specifically just their kernel
