Planning on getting one off eBay.
Gonna get a 13" since I have a massive desktop setup already.

Can't be arsed with the 2016 model, can't stand the lack of ports and touchbar. Trying to decide between the 2014 and 2015 models. Any ideas?

Where can I snatch a good MBP2015? I am browsing through eBay but I'm not sure that I can get the best deal there.

If 15" late 2013 and mid 2014 is pretty the same.
Should I get late 2013 ?
Honestly all I ever worry is the battery, can't be replaced. How many years would it last ?
And how do I check if battery of used Macbook is bad ?

Using a MBP Pro 15-inch, Retina, Mid-2015 which i got from work. Had to replace Screen 3 times due to faulty Panel. Some guys at work upgraded to the new MBPs with Touchbar, all of them have battery issues and faulty keyboards.
This will be my last Mac. Thinking of getting a Surface Book Pro next.

It's nice to see developers adding touchbar functionality. MS Office supports it and chrome is bringing an update in april for touchbar support.

My MBP (Retina 15-inch Mid-2015) after a year (292 cycles) battery capacity is at 90%. I use my MBP at work and privately so it's running up to 10 hours a day minimum. A guy at work used his MBP for over 5 years until the battery literally blew up.

IIRC late 2013 - mid 2015 MBPs are nearly identical with some minor spec bumps (the 2015s have better ssd/memory speeds + force touch but still pretty same). settle on a late 2013 if you see a good price for it and like someone mentioned, get coconut battery.
