Setup a self hosted Nextcloud server and install a client on said persons phone.

Shit will sync data automatically if you set it up that way.

I host my Nextcloud on a Raspberry Pi 3 single board computer. It's not super fast but gets shit done. As an alternative you could use a virtual machine on your home computer (using Virtual Box) but that would waste more power as your computer would have to run constantly.
