I would like to start streaming to twitch from my PS3, what do I require for it and how do I do it?

I do have a PC, a laptop and a 9-year-old desktop, if those are needed.

You need a hdmi caption card, some kind of transcoding software and hardware capable of encoding 720p video streams.

You need a capture device of some sort, either an internal PCI card or external USB box.
PS3 has HDCP encoding on the HDMI stream even when playing games, so you need a stripper (or splitter with strip circuit), or be forced to use component signal, which is still good for 720p, but you will lose a bit of picture clarity.
