This one is for gaymers. Before running the software you want to benchmark, patch out the intel compiler "cheat":
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Programming/Patchers/Intel-Compiler-Patcher.shtml
This will give you a shock when you find out Intel has been deliberately slowing down their competition.
>I-it's all a conspiracy! Intel is paying off benchmark makers! M-my ryzen is super duper better than it shows!

You know Intel lost a lawsuit over the compiler tricks they'd pull right? Now they have to explicitly market it as only optimizing Intel processors. It checks the CPUID to make sure it's an Intel CPU, if it is then extensions such as SSE3 are used. Otherwise legacy x86 and x87 codepaths to get the same outcome (but slower) are used. It doesn't just fuck over AMD, but Via and Elbrus as well.
Intel Compiler used to have specific things they'd pull on AMD processors only like needless register movement and such, but the lawsuit required specific downgrades like that to be removed.

>Using an Intel compiler on a non-Intel chip and expecting everything to be fine
Wow, who fucking knew. Do gamertards realize more than one compiler exists for x86 chips?

I see Ryzen getting most of the hype and shill threads.
