Still don't understand the appeal behind those apps. I use facebook messenger and regular messages, because most people have a mobile plan with a couple of GB and practically unlimited messages.

Everyone i care about i have on facebook, and i mostly talk to people there because it is more convenient to have one app for conversations than more

Fair enough, perhaps it's more of a lifestyle choice and ease of access issue than anything else. Most, if not all, of my personal contacts are on WhatsApp while SMS is reserved almost purely for work.

Used skype for a long time, but they killed my lovely Skype 4.2 few days ago and I had to update.
