nah

Bump so hopefully someone with Ryzen can actually test this shit.
AMD already recommended people put their setups in high performance mode which would probably disable anyway. I think the main issue is with the windows scheduler and also with the specific games.

high power setting doesn't touch usb option because usually it doesn't affect performance
My bet it has to do with the fact that AMD got USB controller on chip an.d windows messed up something with it
I', having two problems with a 1700x first up it wont run at 3.8Ghz, refuses to go past 3.7 and if I put it under heavy load the whole system just bombs out, no blue screen, nothing in windoze logs just a hard reset

the r7's are all made from the same die, if it could go over 3.7, it would have been sold as a 1800x

Looks like chingchong to me.

It's on AMD to fix these issues before releasing their product.
What about not using windows10 desu
>>59253307
AMD doesn't have access to the windows source code, did you know?
>>59254091
This comment... I usually avoid responding, but you seriously think a multimillion dollar company can't put their own cpu into a pc with a windows install and try to figure out what is needed to be done for full optimization?
>>59254138
That's too much work. You probably expected Samsung to test their batteries in the phones before shipping also.
>>59254138
that's not how it works
ie MS knows about new SMT since November =
AMD sent them whole list of bugs ages ago MS didn't do a thing.

>MS fixing bugs with AMD-hardware
LOL!
Man, we had the same situation back with Bulldozer.
Wintel is alive and kicking, bruv.
It's not what most people are talking about.

for "original" post about the issue, which was in short :
>my CPU performance goes down a lot on every core when CPU0 use is high
