For what purpose? Windows 7/8/8.1 still has support.
Unless you will tweek Win10, you will have bad time.
>>59246436
I never understood this. Win10 has been an incredibly pleasant experience for as long as I've been using it (since it released).

I guess getting fucked up the ass is a pleasant experience to you

I admit, I had never checked this (even on VM), but the informations about auto-updates and some other incovenieces (???) made me always stay awya from it.

Thanks anon. So my guess is, that opt-in settings for privacy stuff was just a dick move, but not a non-passable obstacle.
>>59246455
I don't care about the botnet meme but no joke Win10 runs a lot worst than Win7 on my machine.

>opt-in settings for privacy stuff was just a dick move
All privacy settings are opt-out. Although the Creators update will show a dialog full of privacy option switches during installation and ask you to choose what you feel comfortable with.
It will also explicitly ask you to schedule a restart for updates but I don't know the details because I have automatic restarts disabled in group policy.

Oh, the more you know.
I think I will give it a try on VM at first.

I didnt understamd or participate in the hate for windows vista/7/8 because it worked fine for me. Granted I dont fuck around with OS stuff much, I just write code. However, windows 10 has been shit to.
Its the little stuff that pisses me off. My shortcuts get deleted or shifted around randomly very often when I connect/disconnect hdmi cable. Now I have to create 15 shortcuts to put on my desktop again.
I extend my display on two monitors. When i connect/disconnect hdmi, display settings will change to display only on 1 screen.
I cant put shortcuts on the last row of my desktop. Bluetooth tells me Im connected to 5 things and theres 5 other pairable items closeby all with name "bluetooth device".
Windows 10 forces updates and more shit breaks when I update. Mouse stops working, ps4 controller no longer works, cortana now uses more memory, etc.
Like I said, I didnt jump on the hate windows vista/7/8 bandwagon just to hate windows. I also dont touch OS stuff. But I hate windows 10 very much.

YMMV
