Everything will eventually become obsolete. Some might just take decades.

Floppies are obsolete. Took about 30 years.
Cassettes are obsolete. Probably 20 years after CD's came on.
CD's and DVD's are still going strong.
(Micro) SD's will still be around until something better comes along.
