I like the 2700k 600 lumen LED bulbs from IKEA.
equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent with the same color temperature. "daylight" bulbs look strange to me, too cold
4500K is best blackbody temperature, all other posts are memes

Enjoy your retnias before the deteriorate completely.
>>59243443
yeah that color temperature may be closest to sunlight, but at that intensity it looks closer to a fluorescent tube
>no lamps
>dark theme
>screen brightness and contrast at comfy level
>redshift activated
heh... thats how too 4chan... kiddo...

This. There is nothing more goy than buying what you can get for free.
2700K is most comfy for bedroom in my opinion
5000K is something I absolutely recommend for every other room.
That's just me really.

Your skin doesn't produce vitamin D unless the lamp also emits UV-light and I get enough of it from fish anyway. 500 grams of salmon a week averages to around 200% of RDI daily.
is this okay for a small bedroom?

200W 2700K LIT FLAT BRUV!
I like "warm" light
I got four 5m spools of RGBW led tape and wraped it all around my studio aprtmnt, it's all hooked up to raspberry that is simulating the real martian ambient lighting conditions happening right now (including dust storms and such). The 24h 39min day causes some drift compared to earth time, but it's not like as a neet I need to keep that in sync

the cold white fluorescents have a nice soft white to them. the cold white led are just blue and shit.
>>59243368

>>59243385
6500k is blue, not white.

Jesus Christ!
Let me guess, you buy Nivida too?
Unless you live in some third world shit hole where houses are built out of rocks and concrete blocks, you're begging to die in a fire.
Very low kelvin Bridgelux Vero Decor's.
Only need a small heatsink and a LED driver.

good thing they are not random
Explain how is 6500K a perfect white point for monitors, but for lamps it's suddenly blue?
>>59243745
>Is it practical to use a lantern to-
No.

kek
I use a 5000k Quad phosphor fluorescent during the late day and early night hours, and warm white LED/CFL bulbs leading up to bed time.

6500K LED @ 1200+ lumens.
I bought a bunch of 1400 lumen 6500K "cool daylight" CFLs a while back. If I was buying now, I'd go LED.
