Critique this build. I am about to order these parts (found best prices mostly on Amazon). I am looking for technical advice — compatibility issues, potential pitfalls, near-future upgrade consideration, etc. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly. Also, I like to ask a question directly to those with experience in building a pc from scratch — did you have to buy extra wiring or does all the wiring typically come with these components? All comments, opinions, and suggestions are welcome and enormously appreciated.
If its for gayming you should get a cheaper CPU and invest in a better GPU

I plan to develop this pc by upgrading the video card and adding ram as I need performance improvements in the years to come. I'm hoping that my choice of motherboard and cpu are a good platform to build around into the future.

Thank you, thank you. Love to see posts like that. Gives me something to research. Appreciated!
downgrade the cpu and upgrade to a 1070 if you are gaming
I would drop the Samsung 850 and get an Intel 600p. It is a M.2 SSD and performs so much better than a SATA based SSD. The Price to performance is a decent ratio.
