pic related is the only cable internet provider in the area. Since ping, not overall downstream, is the biggest variable affecting online gaming experience, will I notice any difference between the 10 MB/s package and the 250 MB/s package, assuming I'm only running one device at a time?
I feel this company is trying to take advantage of the "ultimate gamer"!
>10MBPS
>10 megabyte per second
Pretty good if you ask me

since it's all caps you can pretty much guarantee it's mbps.

You wont notice a difference in games for ping, you WILL notice a massive difference in downloading updates for you games, downloading new games, watching HD videos, etc.

its mega bits per second actually, 10 mbps is like 1 mb/s, i have 15 mbps and its like 1.6-8 MB/s
>>59239829
...okay?
I have 150mbps which is like 19MB/s
I never said otherwise.
However, since the OP picture is in all caps, i assume it's bullshit, and is mbps, not MBps.

Only if 250mbps uses a newer DOCSIS standard than the slower connections.
