It's much heavier than the benchmade clone, but I sort of like that. a few tricks needed relearning due to the curved shape, but I like it better to be honest.
>>
>>59236599
That's some neat move.

I never use my balisong anymore. Let's say I just knew some basic tricks and I thought it would be a good idea to get the blade razor sharp.

It wasn't.

Its nice, feels like it should cost around £1000

battery life as expected is closer to 5 hours 30 minutes than the advertised 10 hours

Im tempted to get a samsung nvme for it but its difficult to justify as it would cost 1/3 of the total laptop price.

I had my two Ganzo knives seised by customs and a letter sent to me asking for proof of purchase and all the VAT/Customs charges stuff.

Gearbest declared the package as a gift worth 20 (which is below the €22 cut off rate for importing goods into my country) but they then added a note "Folding Knife X2" (folding knives aren't illegal here)

As far as I can tell they had no reason to open my package, has this happen to anyone else?

It's always hit and miss with customs when importing chinkshit, maybe you can request they write something more vague on the box like "household tools"? Like when I ordered my $200 latex gimpsuit from china they just wrote "party costume" on the box, went through customs with absolutely no issue.

I hope I'm wrong but the last electronics I've bought, an android tv box for $20 on 11.11, lasted 1 whole week in Customs while the one I've bought 1 month ago, seller shipped after 23 days of processing, just stayed 12 hours in the Customs warehouse and it's supposed to be a $150 phone. I hope the seller did not 'forget' to include the phone in the package and just sent the free miscellaneous stuff.

>>
>>59243133
> Now i'm looking for la baterias, and knowing chink'n baterias they're marketed at way above their true capacity, these seems like real ones?
They seem like real TrustFire... probably.

I and most on /csg/ really only suggest Panasonic, LG, Sanyo 'cause the chink batteries have a strong tendency to be shit or dangerously shit.

You can order real ones on GB, FT or whatever, though.
>>
>>59243320
>Rule of thumb is rewraps are always sketchy unless they have "fire" in the name, in which case they are 100% guaranteed crap.
The fire ones tend to be crap, but in my experience the other ones are even more likely to be dangerous.

Fire mostly just means terribly fake capacity to the point where you might virtually as well be using a NiMh or something.

>>

> What about performance?
High.

But I'll add that I can know almost no one that currently needs more than a Redmi Note 3 Pro in terms of performance. You almost have to try and play very specific 3D games to need it, with the vast majority requiring not even a Redmi 4 Prime.

Mostly people I know seem to hit RAM limits on 2GB phones and the much less powerful Redmi 1S are actually becoming too slow - that's about it.

> And the size... will it fit in my pocket?
Not every pocket, no. It's a reason why you might want another model.

I used to own a redmi 3, people claimed 10+ hours SoT, I was averaging 7 hours.

The phone lasted less than a year before it decided to stop turning on. Just stick to your Nexus, get a small power bank if battery life is so bad.

This happens randomly with everything ordered from Asia. Last year I got a letter from customs asking for purchase receipt on a phone.

My experience and the experiences of those I know is that the vast majority of orders go right through customs without a hitch. From time to time they seemingly randomly pick some package and demand VAT/customs fees on it.

If knives are legal (and they are in most countries, I think the UK is the only exception) in your country then that's no problem. They do this with a small percentage of all kinds of packages.

>As far as I can tell they had no reason to open my package, has this happen to anyone else?
They don't need a reason. They can open any package they want. You really think they have not caught on to the chinks putting a ridiculously low value on packages?
How they decide which packages to open and check etc. I have no idea about so I won't even pretend to know anything about that.
Either way, I guess you can just send them (customs) a screenshot of your Goybeast receipt or how does that shit work? Pretty sure, but not certain, that the burden of proof is on you when it comes to customs...

Also, minireview:
Remote keyboard/mouse for my media center computer.
So far so good. Nice and responsive. No signal problems over those 4-5m or so between sofa and computer.
Buttons with some velvety soft touch and nice tactile response.
Only downside is the touchpad part being rather small but I knew that when I ordered. It still works surprisingly well for its size.
Easy plug 'n' play on Linux.
Ordered the version with rechargeable Lithium battery because I hate buying batteries.
10/10 would buy again.

I own one and love it, I'm a 5'2" tranny with smol hands and can handle it fine, but I carry a bag with me, women's pockets can't contain it but generally men's can as far as I'm aware.
Expect it to fall out or at least be uncomfortable if you sit down while pocketed tho.

I got the 128gb/4gb ram/Snapdragon 652 model and am running ressurection remix 5.7.4 (modded cm13 with xposed) and it runs great with zero issues.
I love the size and kept wanting to buy a tablet when I had my redmeme note 3 Pro, but this is perfect for comfy manga and ebook reading, minimum screen brightness goes super low and is perfect for night reading and battery life is fantastic.

Mi Max should really be more popular tbqh.
>>
>>59246367
The cheapest one.
DISCLAIMER: if you don't know what you are doing, stay away from powerful laser pointers. They are more dangerous than you think they are. I don't give a fuck if you blind yourself burning your eyes out with your 'toy' but I do care about passers-by and other innocent people. A strong laser pointer can cause permanent eye damage several kilometers away. Also reflections off of walls etc. can potentially by harmful. Powerful lasers are not toys.

If you are concerned with spectral bandwidth, M2 and such you know better than to ask here.
Or you could spend $1 on a cheap laser pointer and then spend thousands on lenses and filters in a futile attempt to obtain a good quality beam.

Sites like Gearbest, Banggood, Everbuying etc. have their own warehouses and don't have any third party sellers on the site. They'll usually send your order in one package.

Aliexpress is like Ebay, they don't have their own warehouse, all items are sold by third party sellers so if you order from different stores you'll get multiple packages.

Any recommendations?

>similar question from me - how about sunglasses?
I bought one of them matrix glasses for $1.30 (bought 3) and theyre pretty good.
It was a little small for my head but 2 (gave 1 away) of em fits alright compared to one where its visibly small on me
Its not fully polarised which is kinda sucks but cant see my eyes when looking farther

I consider hats, watches, sunglasses etc as accessories cos theyre easy to pull off even when a little small or big.
I'm a little concerned for shoes, pants, jackets and shirts cos sizes vary so much and dont wanna have to refund/reorder again when its wrong

>which kinds
i bought a broadcloth shirt once with button down collar. was not dissapointed.
although i did go with a version that was not entirely dirt cheap
thinking of testing the waters by ordering 2 piece dresses and then slowly working up to buying individual tops and bottoms. underwear is always cheap so you can always compliment each order with them, as all clothing stores have them.

my primary reason for buying from the chinks is presence of different (neater?) styles, that i wouldn't find here. Anything that is novel is usually jacked up 3-4x its original price here.

Thats some cool pieces anon, so its usually safe to buy clothes from Ali right? what about refunding em? do you get it through paypal or straight from your card?
Ive only bought a shoe and a jacket so far, ill see how theyll fit when they get here
As soon as I have enough monies to buy, then ill start buying some more to take some risks and some new styles

>my primary reason for buying from the chinks is presence of different (neater?) styles, that i wouldn't find here. Anything that is novel is usually jacked up 3-4x its original price here.

Same too, most of the local shit here are the mainstream brands or overpriced shit or dont exist at all and I want to discover different styles as well. And most sizes here dont fit me as well
Most streetwear styles in my country are western and I wanna try asian streetwear.
