The store I ordered it from should have mobo stock in on monday. Can't wait for my MSI pro carbon mobo. Usually I buy a Sabertooth mobo though. Wanted to get the Assrock Taichi but their Europe prices are insane , 270 euros for their mobo!!

Do we have MVMe/SATA device comparison between Z270 and X370? And also the memory bandwidth? These days most of us have focused too much on gaming benchmarks, but there's no test to reveal storage and memory performance AFAIK.
Like, Z270 platform has 40 PCIE 3.0 lanes (16 from CPU, 24 from the board) but X370 has just 28 (20 from CPU but only 8 from board) along with few PCIE 2.0 lanes, and no one pays attention to the difference.

It performs slightly worse than a 7700K when you limit the resolution to 640x480. Even a GTX 1080 is bottlenecking the CPU beyond that, and it's one of the most powerful GPUs you can buy.

I can understand trying to remove the GPU bottleneck, but no one actually games at below 640x480.
