Why is no one talking about the fact that nearly all of these motherboards are impossible to find.

Went to frys and they had literally nothing.

Why the fuck is it so hard to buy this shit?

pic related, I want it but it exists nowhere.

I got lucky and saw the MSi b350 boards pop up today on newegg and snagged one.
Otherwise I too was looking everywhere just trying to find a board.

Now the MSI boards are all sold out too.

What's the point of whiting out the Order #?
>>
>>59230207
Of course it does. Most people don't care about losing 5 fps in video games when it's overall much better at a quadcore at everything else.
>>
>>59230222
I can't think of anything I'd have in the near future that would cause me to exceed 4 SATA ports. I'll be running one m2 slot. One SSD. One HDD.

seen before people using an order number to call and request cancellation. Nothing malicious but could be annoying.
>>
>>59229574
I preordered everything and now on launch day I'm told the motherboard is backordered and I have to wait two weeks. All of my other parts are ready.

Now, I'm not a faggot so I'm not going to complain any further beyond this. I can wait two weeks.

The store I ordered it from should have mobo stock in on monday. Can't wait for my MSI pro carbon mobo. Usually I buy a Sabertooth mobo though. Wanted to get the Assrock Taichi but their Europe prices are insane , 270 euros for their mobo!!
>>
Do we have MVMe/SATA device comparison between Z270 and X370? And also the memory bandwidth? These days most of us have focused too much on gaming benchmarks, but there's no test to reveal storage and memory performance AFAIK.
Like, Z270 platform has 40 PCIE 3.0 lanes (16 from CPU, 24 from the board) but X370 has just 28 (20 from CPU but only 8 from board) along with few PCIE 2.0 lanes, and no one pays attention to the difference.

Does anyone know what's going on with this whole ECC thing? From what i've heard it isn't specifically disabled but they also wont guarantee that it works.
I want to build a NAS with a 1700 and i dont want to find out that the memory doesnt work after building the thing.

It performs slightly worse than a 7700K when you limit the resolution to 640x480. Even a GTX 1080 is bottlenecking the CPU beyond that, and it's one of the most powerful GPUs you can buy.

I can understand trying to remove the GPU bottleneck, but no one actually games at below 640x480.
>>
>>59230207
I'm almost certainly getting one, pretty much thanks to /g/ pointing out how it matches the 8-core Intels

I'm waiting a while though, primarily for ITX boards to come out but also to see if the price changes at all

The current ram speed limit still puts me off. Right they only support up to 2677mhz ram? I'm using 3200mhz ram (on Intel ITX) and hope to get 4266mhz ram in future.
