I recently built a pc and tried it out to see if everything was put together well. Without the hdd though. It hasn't arrived yet. Every thing seems to be in place but when I turned it in all I got was the fans twitching for a second and then turning off.

Motherboard: msi 970a-g43 plus
Psu: evga 500 w
Graphics card: geforce gtx 1060
Ram: hyperx 8gb
Fans: 2 corsair quiet edition
Processor: and fx-8350

Anyway try a different dimm slot for the ram, since you only have 1 stick it's hard to ISO test for a faulty stick.
