Been with a Moto G 3rd Gen for about a year and thinking on upgrading to something a little more hightech. I'm pretty sure I got the low RAM version since I get often slowdowns when using pandora and my camera along with messaging.

Why does this general recommend iphones but not Samsung Galaxy S phones?

It can't be normie stigma because the iPhone is right up there with it, but also inferior when it comes to durability and what it can do. I've seen people literally throw Galaxy S7s in swimming pools and use them flawlessly. The battery life is impressive and unlike the iPhone it has SD card storage.
They only thing I can think of that it doesn't handle well is music volume, which caps pretty low, but surely that's more of a problem with the Android OS that exists across all devices that use it.

How long does it take to get into a new size?

I'm currently using a 4"7' phone and thinking about a 5"5' xiaomeme.
Going by other 5"5' phones from friends or the examples in the stores it seems nice to look up documents, maps or just showing stupid videos to your SO.
Besides that it really seems bulky for daily use, starting by the fact that it's already a bit of hassle to reach the a with your right thumb, to the point that it fills your pockets nearly exclusively.

Has anyone some experience there? Will it go away after time, or is the >5" phone outside a megacity where I can watch some movies in the train/bus a meme?

Hi guys, my N4 finally died and I'm looking to get a new phone because I'm tired of replacing his fragile as fuck screen. I need:

Literally any music player, check settings, for no ads either use minminguard (xposed module, xposed is not available for android nougat) or buy the app (poweramp is often agreed as being the best music player and every other week its price is less than a dollar).

Custom roms can do it with the native player (apollo iirc), you just have to set it up like that, it comes with an equalizer as well so if you can root your phone i'd recommend switching to lineage o whatever custom rom you choose.

How is an "in-place" upgrade from HFS+ to APFS possible in iOS 10.3? I always thought that changing filesystem destroyed all data (except for turning on journaling)

The G4+ looked good originally, but after some research it looks like it has some serious overheating and quality of life issues.
