Hello /g/ so I have a desktop pc that I got for free from work. Its got a core 2 duo @ 3ghz and 8gb of ram! But it has on-board graphics which really suck...
I'm hoping you guys could recommend a low power usage gpu (don't want to upgrade the psu) that can support hdmi so I get smooth playback from my TV watching blu-rays, dvds, 1080p youtube, etc...
thanks /g/uies

I have a budget of no more than $50
also, fuck you. :^)
Msi Gtx 1050 low profile, also try looking for a q6600 on ebay.

That 1050 is over my budget unfortunately. There's one of these on my local craigslist https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GeForce-128-bit-N730-2GD3V3/dp/B015DROZM8
I could probably get it for $30! Thoughts?
Also wow I can get a q6600 for less than $20 good idea!!

You probsbly have E8400 C2D so you do not awnt to go for q6600.
Find AMD 5670 or 6770 or some card like that.
Do not go above rx460 with that cpu.
Give it back, Jamal.
For $50 consider nothing but the used market. Look for used 560Ti, 6770, 7750, that sort of thing.
