Why doesn't GNU/Linux have a decent music player/organizer/tagger that is as customizable as foobar2000?
I still have to run it through wine.

fb2k is god tier, literally nothing like it on Linux unfortunately.
People shill mpd + whatever but I don't want to have to run a server and a client for my music.

Yes, yes you do
Banshee Media Player is great imo.

oh btw I love banshee because the default look of it is how I always used to customize foobar. so I guess that won't apply to everyone

Deadbeef is basically Foobar2000 for Linux. Best music player I've used on loonix
Why does fb2k use a bunch of libre programs and insists on being closed source?
How do I make F2k look good on Linux? wine-staging's GTK3 options is garbage and disables itself randomly

Bump for Deadbeef. It is super simple and super comfy.
>>59208739
Why not?
>>59210386
It has none of the customization options. It doesn't even have a library feature I think.

You're just used to Foobar and don't want to adjust, doesn't make alternatives actually worse than that.

Use clementine.
