Pic related is the only Adobe AE benchmark I have found.
I don't game, and I mainly use my PC for Adobe AE and Premiere Pro.
What do /g/?
I have an awesome offer on my 5960x system. I can sell it and build a new system around 1800x. Should I go for it?
Also if you have seen any other reviewer who has done Adobe CC benchmarks, please post link.

So, how does your i7-5960X performs?
Are you a consumer sheep?
Why can't you wait for 10nm CPUs, or atleast next generation Zen CPUs?

>I mainly use my PC for Adobe AE and Premiere Pro.
If the offer for the 5960x is that good, I don't ser why not. Ryzen seems to do well on both.

I forgot where the benchmarks were but here is the rundown
Bsically the 1800x is 10 seconds faster in all rendering in premiere and after effects but sucks absolute shit through a crazy straw with photoshop and lightroom

With skylake-x and kabylake-x two months out id wait for and price cuts if that's enough of a performance increase for you

I didn't do a good build. The Mobo is MSI SLI Plus. It's shit. Sometimes even connecting a USB device make the computer crash. (Yes I've done everything possible - drives, bios reset, everything. Doesn't solve the problem) and it doesn't OC well.
After OC'ing, once in a while the computer wouldn't boot up - like after a month of working fine, and then BIOS would reset and I would lose my RAID drives.
I also don't like my GTX 970. The fans are always running. So my PC in general is not quiet, and I'm not OC'ing the cpu.
>Are you a consumer sheep?
Only when it comes to my PC. Perhaps because I make a living with it? I'm a self-employed video producer.

Ok you two made me change my mind. Fuck.
I'll wait and stop being a consumer sheep.

Since this looks like a decent shitposting-free I'll try to ask here.
What would be a better benchmark be to see what is better for Emulation/virtual machines/code compiling?
Would benchmarks about adobe kind of work be closer to it or would videogayms benchmarks be closer?
Also, have prices been announced?
